I am new to postcrossing and have sent out nine postcards so far. Out of those, four have landed and five remain in transit. Only one of mine was sent to the USA (my own country). Four were to Europe, one was to Lebanon, one to Japan, and one to Taiwan. I have received a total of three postcards so far, all from the USA. Each of these three postcards is special to me and I appreciate the effort that the senders put into them, truly. But I feel like the ratio of where I'm sending them versus where I'm receiving them from feels unbalanced. I would like the opportunity to send more cards, and at this point two of my postcards have been in transit for three weeks each. I'm trying to be patient but I don't feel like I'll ever get over that hump.
Did anyone else ever start out with such an unbalanced situation as far as where your cards were coming from versus where they were sent? Is it like this forever? I am so disappointed!
