Let me preface this by saying this is not a post about me using postcrossing/penpaling/etc. for a love connection but I saw something on a profile today and it got me thinking!

I requested a new address to send a card to today & noticed that one of the first things this person listed on their profile is that they’re single. Now, I’m not judging this person! I know many people mention their marital/familial status on PC because it can be something to talk about when writing cards - but I wondered if any people mentioned being single in hopes of something more?

Have you been able to ignite a romantic spark with someone via snail mail? Do you know someone who has? It would definitely make for one heck of a “how we met” story!
