I can't believe Poshmark is doing this and I feel like this will definitely drive people away. Just made an offer on an item for $30 and I notice it cost about $4 more for the item then before because Poshmark is adding a "Protection Fee" on top of everything else and I'm also reading that they are still taking fees from sellers too. They are basically double dipping charging sellers and now buyers. Am I crazy or does this sound wrong like ebay doesn't even do this?
Even crazier is this "Protection Fee" INCREASES with the increase price of the item. Example is a $76 item will cost an additional $16 on top of shipping. So you're paying $7.97 for shipping and then $16 for Taxes and Protection Fee. That $76 item is actually $100.
People are saying but benefits sellers. Nope because people won’t be buying
Yep I’m a buyer and a seller. Won’t be buying anything anymore. It’s ridiculous. I just sell my clothes to clothes mentor now or donate. Sad. I’ve been w posh since 2018
I’m a seller as well since 2018. Last 2/3 years it’s gone way downhill
I’ve had good luck with clothes mentor I made $55 there the other day on like 6 items

But it’s still less than posh I checked today. I don’t wanna buy a seven dollar item that has four extra dollars tacked on the already eight dollar shipping. Sigh. I’m a seller too it’s already been downhill the last few years!
