Im new to Poshmark, and I'm used to POSHMARK sending ME an email when the item is sold and POSHMARK holding and releasing the $$ as in previous transactions.
Today, within seconds of Listing my item, I get a message someone saying they purchased it and that POSHMARK SENT THEM .. The subject line read "Your Product has received a purchasing proposal." They asked for my credit card number exp. date etc and how much $$ I had on my card. (:Which seemed odd to me !), so I did as they asked, however, I got a response back that read I needed over $200 on my card to seal the deal.
I've never heard of such weirdness. Has Poshmark changed the way they used to handle payments, or is this a SCAM ? thank you

Never ever give out card info. On Poshmark Or anywhere! If they purchased from you, why do they need your number?? Insanity
