I just recently went to SHAC dental for the first time in a long time since I couldn't afford to go. However, I am graduating this term so I have very little time to get dental work (wisdom teeth and fillings) done before then. They also quoted me quite a bit $1385 for wisdom teeth extraction (all 4), and $305 for 2 fillings. Is this normal or expensive? Currently, I don't have dental insurance and didn't qualify for OHP... I've been looking around and can't tell if it's cheaper to get dental insurance and go somewhere else for the work. Any experience with affordable dental care in Portland or any advice would be greatly appreciated. Researching this is quite difficult. Thanks in advance from a broke soon to be college graduate.
