I've been hearing what sounds like a go-kart flying down either the highway or train tracks near Saint John St. for several days now. Anyone know what it is?

It sounds like a small engine. It takes about 2-4 seconds for the sound to pass. Whatever it is, it happens at least 3 times a day. I haven't caught a glimpse of it yet. We live near the tracks and 295, and I can't tell which is hosting the vehicle.
I'm not mad - just really curious.
