Remember how the city was ok with a nazi punching an LGBT community member on the steps of city hall this year? Interesting that no one cared enough to do anything actionable there.
Post Body

Really makes you wonder about the police here who are not findable to the public without a FOAA and money to the city.

It really contrasts the less-lethal (still lethal) bullets shot at protestors in 2020 for exercising their civil rights, unlike the heiling LARPer basment dwellers who got a police escort for their own literal nazi parade through town.

It's really telling that the city did nothing to follow up, and very weird to treat fascism as equal to people asking for fair (note this doesn't mean equal) treatment.

The city is functionally stating that fascism is as rational, ok, and justified as an actually victimized marginalized group's pleas for social help from a body of government that pretends to be about help and service. Unnfortunately that service is in a priority queue where rich land or capital owners are always top tier.

Its very suggestive that since this city is an actual corporation (incorporated) and the managers are not the managers, that the police and construction/ real estate oligopolies in maine are.
