Me too bud! Art sells it for me

I'd like to share my thoughts about this as a veteran reader, who's been reading for almost 2.5 years and has a ydifferent perspective. I didn’t know that’s what’s considered vet years. Looks like we’re in the same rank haha!

I agree lots of fillers, change of direction and pace as well as a long hiatus (that hiatus killed me I thought for the longest time they weren’t going to get back to it and I too started reading lots of other manhwa that I didn’t find nearly as appealing) but with all of these flaws it still isn’t nearly as bad as the ones I mentioned for example. The fact that it’s able to stay afloat rather than sink like Silent War is what carries my opinion.

You're right here. The art has seen changes, ups and downs in it's journey so far. However like any other long serializing manhwa, it has also seen it's fair share of terrible art and poor drawing consistency. On the top pf my head a few examples I can think of, The Nasori Nurse sex scene, The Seorin- Somi - Ho-Seung 3some sex scene, The jarring difference in the consistency of Mi Jung's design (Team leader), Seorin's design, Ho Seung's design. I do see what you’re saying. I get that they can seem to be inconsistent with the art style for some early to mid chapters panels. I’m an amateur artist myself and I have to vouch for the creator on their behalf. From what I could see, they’ve developed their characters designs as they’ve further progressed the story which is awesome. From my POV, I thought MC looks developed as he progressed because he was coming out of his dark demeanour. The artist has done me a service by making tweaks here and there on certain characters styles. I’m drawn to this manhwa because of the way the artist uses perspective drawing so well. That’s just me though! Not sure if you’ve dipped a toe in drawing at all yourself.

I did think it started off pretty dark and was finding it a little tough to swallow the heavy and surreal blackmail and at the start. I probably wouldn’t have stuck to reading this had it gotten any darker. I love dark stories but not in an erotic read lol

I do think the energy for Vice Prez has been pretty timid for what she’s meant to be. Again, it’s not the worst underdevelopment that I’ve seen in manhwa. I’m angst to see where the story goes with Vice Prez and Na-Sori’s ex goes. I have a feeling where going to see a dark version of the climax from the movie Crazy, Stupid Love if you’ve seen it.

No dude, they're stil morally grey people. 1000% bro. I know I said the dark intro was a bit much but I would’ve liked to see it still a running theme just not as real as it felt. Maybe filter and dilute it and it would be so good to have in the story. I didn’t like Na-Sori to begin with which was all part of the writing and understood that that’s who she’s going to be in the story but now she’s likeable which is contradicting her intro into the story. That’s given me mixed signals about her for the long haul whereas with Team Leader I did think she’d come around and be one of the female leads for MC.

Now all this may sound like I'm criticizing AWNW, which is true. The art is amazing and it's very enticing for newbies and weekly readers. However as someone who's read a lot and much much more, I can say AWNW/ BNW could be so much more while being an amazing pornhwa series. I’ve found it difficult to find an art style that’s in par with AWNW besides Internet Haenyo and Is there an Empty Room.

I’m not sure if I’ve read any of your recommendations but I’ll take a look at all of them to see if I have or not. If I haven’t, I’ll give them a go once one of the few I’m reading wraps up. My reading list is ridiculous at the moment that I had to cut out a few because they weren’t worth my time with the amount I was reading. I’m also learning Korean right now so it was becoming exhausting trying to keep up with so many whilst trying to learn along the way.

Overall with all its flaws here and there, it’s ups carries its downs for me and isn’t nearly as shocking as many others. Happy to chat more mate so feel free to bounce back! Hope you’re having a nice weekend wherever you are

How far in did you get? I can’t really say because it’s my favourite so I’d say pretty early in but if you didn’t really like it you may not like it later either. I’d say give it 25-30 chapters and if you don’t like it by then just give it a pass
