sexting is taking a toll on my mental health

Does anyone else here have an issue with sexting, aside from porn, sexting is a pretty big issue for me and I don't know how to stop it. I usually feel alot of regret and shame . I only sext because it's a way for me to get my sexual needs met, but i'm tired of just being a sexting partner, I actually want a geunine connection with someone, i'm so tired of it, i just want to cry, does anyone have any tips to stop sexting ?
