Hello. I'm coming off of yet another relapse and am wondering something. I think what is ultimately leading me back to porn consistently isn't some longing for it, but instead a very benign itch that can only be scratched by masturbation and pornography. To people who are currently or have succeeded at going pornfree, what did you fill the void that porn had in your day to day routine?
I've tried things like working out and meditation, but nothing is working to compete with the immediacy of porn. Unless I am looking at it the wrong way, and rather than replacing it with something, the answer is instead training my brain to crave something slower and more satisfying longterm. I'd imagine it's the second one, but again talk to me about your experiences. I need some support right now, I've been surrounded by too much isolation and introspection the last couple weeks and it's gotten me feeling very lonely and depressed.
Hope to hear from you, hope you have a great Sunday :)
