The downside is that it's about $14 per month. However, I started using it last July, and besides the occasional nudity I see in some movies (which doesn't cause me to MO), I have been going strong. It's worth every penny.
I tried breaking the habit a couple of times a few years ago on my own. I could go about 30 days, but the issue was that eventually I would lose momentum and start doing my usual PMO daily routine. I think the problem then was that I was still doing MO daily. With Brainbuddy, I can now sometimes go 15-20 days without MO, and when I MO, I think about real women. I usually MO about once every 8-10 days.
Being close to 300 days P-free has helped me a lot. The main goal has been to find a gf. While that hasn't happened yet, I'm much more motivated. I go to the gym more often. I tried out a 4 week salsa dancing class a couple of weeks ago (I didn't even go to any high school dances). I've participated in a couple of co-ed sports - tennis, volleyball twice, and now kickball. Once I move to a new apartment in a couple of weeks, I'll start going to bars by myself weekly. I've also noticed that my other dopamine boosters aren't as appealing anymore. For example, I haven't played any video games in a couple of months.
