We just purchased a 1994 Rockwood popup and the cable snapped. Has anyone replaced it themselves or should we leave it to the experts? Any advice appreciated!
We had to replace our Goshen system last year. We were so nervous but taking the time to plan it and watch YouTube over and over again we got it done.
No shop would touch our 95. The one shop that did wanted $800 for it. We got it done for around a whole days worth of work, and $30 bucks.
We're not ones who generally work on vehicles or do this type of handy work. So it definitely took some confidence and just diving in to get it done. And we still boast about it a year later.
Tomorrow I'll send links to the two videos we did it off of.
