"Heavier" Pop-punk bands with easycore/melodic hardcore vibes?

Post Body

I've really leaned into pop-punk the last few years after mainly listening to prog metal, metalcore and melodic hardcore. I've found I really like the pop-punk bands that have a heavier edge but feel like I've run out of new bands like that. Got any recs? Below are the ones I already know/like:

  • The Story So Far (What You Dont See & "Smile" off the self-titled)
  • For Year Strong (literally everything they've done)
  • In Her Own Words
  • With the Punches (new EP)
  • Carousel Kings (Really only a few songs - Lock Meowt, Code Breaker, Truth Seekers)
  • Wilmette
  • Belmont (not really pop-punk but adjacent)
  • Settle Your Scores (again maybe not pure pop-punk)

That covers the bases. Thanks for any suggestions!

Edit: Some bands I left off my list since I was worried they weren't pop-punk enough:

  • Abandoned by Bears
  • Set Your Goals
  • Chunk, No Captain Chunk!
  • A Day to Remember (really only their debut)

Comments

Saw Wilmette and settle your scores last night. Both are fantastic
