For those who lived through it, how does Eminem's peak in the early 00's compare with the biggest artist peaks since; like Beyonce in the 10's or Taylor Swift today?

It's been stated that Eminem in 2002 had the highest peak of any artist ever. His studio album became the best-selling hip hop album and basically went diamond in a year literally flew off the shelves. He also starred in and produced the soundtrack for the movie 8 Mile, a global Box Office success, which also won him an Oscar. I was too young for any of this but I was told that Eminem's name was in every household in America, for better or for worse. How does this compare to major artists peaks that I have lived through such as Beyonce or Taylor Swift?
