The current version installed is 22.04 LTS.
I'm not sure exactly when this happened as I'm not always using my docking station, but it has been within the last month that this happened.
I had been running v5.5.0-59.151 since early spring with no issues. But today I plugged in the docking station and the dual external monitors don't work.
I removed and re-installed those drivers, which installed successfully, rebooted, and tried again, but no luck.
I then downloaded the latest driver from DisplayLink (for Ubuntu, that's the only official Linux release they have), installed it, and it fails with the following error, which means nothing to me:
"verifying archive integrity... 100% MD5 checksums are OK. All good.

Can anyone help me figure out what the issue is? Thank you.
