I'm having an issue with a 5500 XT with fractional scaling enabled in 21.04
I have two 4k monitors with 125% fractional scaling enabled, I recently tried replacing a GTX 1650 with a RX 5500 XT because I thought I would have a better experience.
However, I am facing some strange artifacting issue when I open the pop shop and use the search, the rest of the screen goes glitchy.

I thought the card was at fault but I don't think it is, however I have not confirmed by testing with another AMD GPU, but I have stressed this GPU and its fine everywhere else and under Windows.
I don't really want to be buying a 5500 XT in this climate to test and I don't know anyone I can borrow one from. I've searched and I can't find any one else with the same issue, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same experience, or can test this scenario (125% scaling and using search, it can take a few tries for it to happen).
UPDATE 1:
I noticed that it happens a lot more frequently than I thought since it happens when using the terminal and firefox too. I updated to the latest mesa drivers but the issue persists.
I also installed Ubuntu 21.10 and tested but the issue is not present there, there are also no issues under Windows 10.
I have noticed that this does not seem to happen on a fresh install of Pop OS 21.04, it only starts happening after running apt upgrade so I'm going to grab the out put of apt list --upgradable to see what's changing.
UPDATE 2:
I went through each package it wanted to upgrade and did them one by one.
After I upgraded libegl-mesa0 and its dependencies (libglapi-mesa, libgl1-mesa-dri, libglx-mesa0, libgbm1) from 21.0.1-2pop0~1624392450~21.04~6fbdfd2 to 21.2.1-2ubuntu2pop0~1632348269~21.04~616afda then the problems started.
My problem now I guess is that from what I have read there is no easy way to downgrade the mesa driver?
UPDATE 3:
I saw there was a mesa driver update to 21.2.2 so I thought I would give it a try.
I think we may be on to a winner here.
