Of course I can't do everything in the terminal, but it is fun and challenging.
Like posting this of course I'm using Firefox.
- Midnight Commander for file viewer
- Cmus for music player(not shown in pics)
- w3m for web browser - great for quick questions/references for games I play(uesp.net for Skyrim and the wiki for FFBE) or any other simple sites that don't require a login or anything fancy.
- Only thing I still want to do is get rid of the status bar for each of my Terminal applications. I've tried a few gnome extensions with no luck.
Been a semi-long time Mac user(since about 2011 with the 2011 macbook air) and only use Windows for gaming and recently for work. However I found out vmware horizon client can be used on Linux! That's what I have in my second workspace.I'm full time Linux now with a Windows 10 partition just in case.
I'm a huge fan of app launchers. I started out with Alfred on Mac and found an alternative while on Windows and use Synapse on Pop OS.I don't have any Desktop icons or the dock for apps that are open or used most often.I installed Dash to Dock and just disabled it.
Thank you Pop OS for an awesome OS! I've tried a few others and have stopped with Pop OS.
