How do you check the time when your app is fullscreen?

When in fullscreen mode (e.g. playing games, watching a show, fullscreen zoom meeting), I can't see the time on the top bar.
On Mac OS you can move the mouse to the top of the screen and it will cause the top bar to hover "over top" of the fullscreen app, just temporarily until you move the mouse away again. This worked quite well for "checking the time" IMO.
Is there another way to do this that works well in Pop? How do you check the time without exiting fullscreen mode?
