So I grew up with estranged family, a mother without a license and an absent (but capable) father. I'm turning 28 soon without a license and no foreseeable plan to get one. My ex's parents were helping me and I got my adult learners permit which expires in two months, but I couldn't stay to finish the process (out of my control), so I'm back to square one. I cook for work now and I have 58 college credits. I look for work outside of the service industry and things I could possibly qualify for and so many of them require at least a drivers license even if they're not directly transport jobs. I have had girlfriends with cars but no insurance, yk that kind of shit.
Any ideas are welcome. If it helps, I know how to drive. Just the actual getting it done, and then getting a car, with no license in my name.
