I posted a long thread the beginning of the week talking about how I felt poor because of addictions and bad spending habits.
I got a lot of love and positive advice from lots of you. It really inspired me to be better.
I also got a lot of negative feedback. While some people may scoff at them and be pissed off, I took those comments to heart. Sometimes tough love works. And it worked here too.
I haven't had a drop of alcohol since I posted it. I feel AMAZING. I am actually going to the gym this evening and I'm NOT dreading it. I TOOK OUT THE TRASH. I put together that bed frame I've been neglecting from "being too tired".
I was sent a budgeting spreadsheet from a kind redditor. I have already started utilizing it.
Another sweet redditor is going to write songs with me!
Thank you all so much for the support/tough love. It means a lot.
And those that are actually poor (as opposed to broke from bad decisions), I hope you get your windfall. I hope the planets align just right so you can find peace in this world.
