Pentair pressure relief valve leak

About two months ago I noticed the pressure relief valve on my pentair quad DE was leaking from the nozzle where air is released from. It was old so I went ahead and replaced it. Today I noticed the new valve is leaking from the same spot. I thought to myself, maybe I got a defective one. Replaced it once more and it’s still leaking. Any ideas? First time pool owner, all I know is from what I learned from reading online.

Oh and if I shut the pump off and then slightly open the pressure relief valve and let air in and then turn the pump back on. No leak.
