High pressure
Post Body

So I have a Hayward perplex ec65a filter. I inherited this house and it has this set up. It’s a 20x30 inground.so the question. When I turn the pump on it primes great shows like 13 psi on the filter. After about an hour sometimes three hours the pressure climbs to 20 and the flow coming through the pump slows down. If I open the waste valve water flow shoots back up and stays up when I close the valve. For a little bit then does it again. If I shut it off and pump the handle and then turn it back on the pressure drops to 13 and we repeat all over again. I don’t know what I am doing wrong? This is all foreign to me. I just want to be able to run my pump for a long period of time but can’t do so.
