Heat Pump and Heater?
Post Body

We are looking to start the build process for a pool next spring, but I am trying to get everything I need/want lined up before then.

I'm confused about the heating part. We will have a Pool and flush spa within the pool. We will be on Electric and Propane. It seems that the best way to heat the spa is via a Propane heater, but we will be on a 250-gallon tank, and I'm not sure that is enough to heat the pool also. Is it possible to do a heat pump/chiller combo for the Pool, but use Propane heater for the spa? Is there a better way to do this?

We are in middle Georgia for reference.
