Budget fix for pond dam erosion.

Post Body

I'll preface this by saying, I have very little money to spend. Removing and rebuilding isn't an option, as is filling with concrete.
Under the dam/spillway is washed out. After fixing the erosion issue, what should I fill the hole with? It's huge, probably in the vicinity of 20 cubic yards. I considered filling with dirt, then pumping water in, to push it into the edges and settle it, then repeat until it's filled in. Does anyone have a cheap redneck engineering style fix for it? I don't need engineered plans with a 500 year warranty, just something that'll do on a budget.
