What kind of fish or plants could survive in this Appalachian water feature...it doesn't freeze

Here's a ton of pics of my water feature. It's had cat tails and frogs thatve loved in it for years. The same frogs I believe bc or same family lol. But it's never frozen over bc it gets the condensation from our HVAC unit so it's always stirring it around keeping it fresh. It does have much. Idk if I need to clean all of that out or leave some. But I'd like to get some fish and more plants, as well as another filter the one we have hasn't been ran in probably 10 years.

So what kind of fish? Idk the water temp but I'm I'm the Appalachian mtns so it gets cold here...but this ponds honestly never frozen over bc it's pretty deep.

How clean does it need to be...the water is relatively clear.
