I recently completed a PF940v2 build with a G34 slide.
The slide is a brownells G34 slide, barrel is glockstore double diamond stainless stock length barrel, and all internals are OEM Glock.
Everything went together pretty well, made sure the channel for the recoil spring was cleared out all the way. When I first assembled everything, the trigger pull was great. No issues with racking the slide either, I made sure the rails were nice and smooth. But after about 15-20 dry fires, it started getting really heavy and to the point where it wouldn't break at all.
I did light polishing on the contact surfaces, and made sure that the components weren't binding on anything. I did some file work on the rear rail and tried my best to make sure the trigger bar isn't rubbing on anything. I checked the connector to make sure it was slightly bent out, so all good there. From what I can tell the trigger bar is contacting the safety plunger like it should and the rear of the cruciform is pressing the striker like it needs to. I checked the channel liner and the striker spring, everything seems to be working okay from what I can tell and not binding up. But the only way I can usually get the trigger to break is to slightly pull the slide back, and even then its not consistently breaking.
I really am at a loss for what to do next.
