Discussing Timelines - How To?
Post Body

Hi all,

Looking for some advice/support/guidance or just solidarity. So, I want to have kids, I've known that for a while and both my partners know and a new (likely) comet knows too. Everyone is supportive of this and always has been.

I've recently thought of a timeline for this and would like to discuss this with my partners... and I've found myself completely clamming up. I've always had a decent bit of fear about them pulling away but I've always been open about that, sought and received reassurance that although things will change, we'd work on it together to be happy and comfortable. But now, trying to tell them, I'm drawing a complete blank. Talking about kids? Wouldn't know how to do it with a gun to my head - apparently.

Did anyone else find this was a thing they struggled with? What happened? How did they approach it?

I'm not sure what I can do to calm my nerves here but I'd like to do so soon, so I can focus on what will be relatively intensive planning. Any advice would be great!
