I'm navigating through my first poly experience and I'm not completely sure how to process it
Post Body

I'm 24 with a long term primary partner of 4 years currently. We are both free to seek out other relationships, while keeping each other informed and it's been going pretty well so far, specially with the context of short term relationships or one night stands!

Recently, I found myself a new partner that I would consider my secondary who would rather prefer to stay monogamous while dating me. This is honestly the first time I've been in this situation. I try my hardest to communicate with both my partners properly talking about how each feel about the relationship and making sure to meet each of their needs. Honestly however I'm a little confused with how being in this situation works, it's a little confusing not talking about the future with my secondary partner, specially since me and my primary have considered to live with each other in the future. I'm also not sure how to approach their choice to be monogamous. The relationship with them feels like it's only going to be temporary since were avoiding these topics and I really don't know how to navigate through all this. I've talked to my partners about it and we're all in the same boat. I dont really have much people to talk about poly relationships in real life and find it hard to ask for advice on how to proceed?

tldr: this is my first polyamorous set up, and im having trouble navigating through all of it with my partners when it concerns the future and i dont know from who i can get any perspective or advice from.
