Newly Poly- long term lesbian relationship

Post Body

My girlfriend and I of many years decided to open things up a few months ago. We are in a long term loving relationship and live together/share finances etc. Poly sounded like a way to build community and especially for my partner try out more sexual relationships. She started dating a girl who quickly has stated that she doesn’t do casual relationships. My partner really likes her but I feel insecure about the situation. All of us are pretty new to poly and I worry that our long term committed relationship is not as valid to this person as if we were a straight married couple which she dated the wife of in the past. Would it be weird or inappropriate for me to want to meet and talk to her? I have spoken extensively with my partner about the situation. Am I just being jealous? I rationally don’t feel jealous, but my stomach has been in a knot since they started seeing each other.
