Do people just tolerate lackluster sex lives with primary / nesting partners?
Post Body

Recently a guy wrote a sad post on here. He had a lackluster sex life with his wife, and was very sad and hurt about it. He was asking about NRE, but it was clear that the real issue was the problem with his primary.

Or so it seemed to me. To my complete surprise, most of the comments thought it was ok to blame or insult him, and that he should just tolerate a lackluster sex life. My comments to the contrary got heavily downvoted.

I'm pretty disappointed in this sub, but mostly baffled. Is it a gender issue, where it'd be different if we reversed the genders? Or what is going on here to cause such odd comments and odd downvoting pattern?

Edit: the mod has said I have to post the link. I originally didn't want to do that, because I was more asking a general question. But it's this post
