Post Body

I’m trying to understand what I’m feeling about something and some advice/help would be good.

I’ve been seeing my non NP (I’ll call her S) for a year and for the last 6 months she also started seeing another (I’ll call him T) who her NP doesn’t know about yet.

We met once because S had talked about a threesome and we tried it out - we haven’t all talked or met since.

Now to where I’m confused. S asks me if I wanted to go out to an event. I was excited and said yes. She later says she’s booked 3 tickets. I asked who the third was for and she said her daughter or T, and that T was having a tough time and needed cheering up. She then went onto say that I could say if I didn’t want either to go.

This is where I’m trying to understand now I feel. She never said anything about anyone else going before. When she goes out, it’s easy for her to tell her NP it’s with me. I’m now thinking does she actually want to go out with T but doesn’t have an excuse as to why she’s seeing him so she is only wanting me there for that reason. The second thing is, it feels weird to bring me and T together- like some sort of throuple date? I’m not sure if I feel hurt too, that I thought it was a date between us but she’s bringing someone else too.

I did find polyamory hard to start with but I’ve been more supportive and learning to understand multiple relationships and love. I don’t know if I’m too ‘ok’ with it now and it’s led to this.
