The polyamory books are boring dull reads. To me anyway. If others find them useful, that's great.
Reading r/polyamory and actually seeing what people go through is far more interesting, and helps you think about things and setup agreements and your own boundaries.
Then again, I like train wrecks. I can learn better from other peoples fuckery than I can from a book.
I like therapy. I like a completely impartial third party to tell me how fucked I am, and what I need to focus on to may the world a better place.
And I love lamp.

I think people learn better in bite sized chunks. So advice posts and essay style posts giving advice can be much more digestible than an entire book.
That said, I'm a hypocrite because I want to string together my short writings into a book.
