Update to my previous post:

I didn't have to meet the ex or the kids! He did introduce me to his mom (not as anything, just "Mom, this is [raspberryconverse].") which I was a little caught off guard by. I'm not sure if he's mentioned me to her yet...

He introduced me to all of his bandmates and while I didn't really talk to them too much, I did talk to one of the wives and we really hit it off. Turns out we have a mutual friend! When I mentioned that I moved down here from a nearby large city, she asked why and I just told her straight that my spouse and I are polyamorous and we moved here for their job. She didn't bat an eye! We talked a lot about living in the suburbs and how we both went to college in the city and stuff. She was really cool! I'm hoping I made a new friend because making friends in your 30s and 40s is hard.

I also met one of the girlfriends and she was nice too. She complimented me on my shoes after Zac's band played and then asked who I was there to see. I said I was dating the drummer and she said, "Oh! I'm dating the bassist!" So we sat together for a bit. I told her how I was just trying to avoid meeting the kids and the ex and apparently she knew of some of the drama with her. Seems like nobody likes her... But yeah, I told her about how I had told Zac I didn't have an interest in getting involved with his kids and how he thought that was refreshing and she seemed to totally get where I was coming from.

He also kept putting his arm around me while we were watching the other bands 🥰 He also looked really hot on stage 🥵 I can't wait for his next show!
