I'd like to make a friend with someone who is friendly, open-minded, thoughtful, reasonably intelligent, compassionate and likes to have regular phone calls. Being affectionate and having some sort of cynical side is a bonus as well. I'm open to forming a more intimate/sexual relationship, but I'd want this to occur naturally when getting to know each other as friends. I'm not that bothered by looks, I'm more interested in connecting with someone's personality, though I do respond warmly to girlie voices and cuteness. Some things that turn me off are superstitious thinking including astrology and some forms of religion, some right-winged political dispositions and those that can't critically think.

I enjoy learning about history, British dark ages and Roman history being my favourites. I love seeing how similar people our throughout history and I enjoy thinking about what it would have been like to live in a different time and culture. I feel quite constrained that I'm bound to just a very small period in history, I wish I could live for thousands of years if only to satisfy my curiosity of how the world will unfold. I really enjoy watching historical period dramas and documentaries, and playing video games that have a historical context. I also enjoy cooking, mostly because I love eating spicy vegetarian food. Currently with music, I'm most interested in experimental music, but in the past I've really been into punk music, partly due to appreciating the nihilistic, anarchist and counter culture themes.

I suffer from clinical depression, which leaves me withdrawn and emotionally unwell often. I often play video games when like so, I'm into strategy and RPG games, some of my favourites are modded Skyrim, Mount and Blade and Crusader Kings. I consume cannabis regularly, particularly when my mental health plays up as I find it helps stabilise my mood. When I'm not withdrawn I'm usually focused on one of my projects, most of them being beekeeping related. I manage and interact with a number of beehives and I'm always learning more about bees and having various projects that I'm working on.

I practice kink in my personal life and I participate in the local kink scene (fetlife). I most identify as a switch, as different people, moods and environments brings out different sides of me, though I tend to gravitate to more dominate roles. Digital privacy is important to me, and I don't feel comfortable with having personal conversations with someone over a medium where said conversation is being shared with a third party eavesdropper. Because of so, I won't be using apps like Skype, Snapchat, or Discord to talk to you. Nowadays, I pretty much just use Telegram, but I'm open to a few other apps that use end to end encryption for messaging, such as Wickr and Wire.
