Essentials
I'm a 31 year old poly man, married but I do not date people with my wife. Very big on communication.
Looking for someone within a reasonable driving distance, preferably within 30 minutes or so of MKE. For a good match I'd entertain going as far as Madison or Kenosha. Age is semi-flexible, I'm more concerned about mutual relatability and maturity. Hard limits are 20-40
A few tidbits about myself
6'0", average to skinny build. INTP. Not athletic but not out of shape either - Would love a hiking buddy though!
Into a wide assortment of geeky things such as sci-fi, D&D, computers (I'm an IT guy), video games. I also enjoy animated comedies. If you like really bad movies we'll probably get along.
Outside of that, I really enjoy hiking with or without my dog (65lb German Shepherd/Husky mix), usually with human company. I'm a big fan of trying out new restaurants, food, and drinks and I love how much variety Milwaukee has to offer in this area! Social drinker, usually prefer beer. I love traveling/road trips too.
In general, I'm pretty well-rounded and like dabbling in a little bit of everything. I'm not super artsy but I am creative and or rare occasions I'll draw.
Sex is pretty awesome but it's lower on my priority list than most and I don't necessarily need it to feel close to someone. Asexuals are an okay match if you like giving/receiving affection.
A bit about what I'm looking for:
I'm looking to find poly-friendly females for friends and/or a relationship, where we end up on that front is completely dependent upon how we mesh - I don't like trying to cram people into boxes. A big thing at this point in my life is time availability - I have a large number of friends and a couple partners that have moved out of state, so I have a LOT of friends I talk to regularly but don't actually hang out with. At a bare minimum I'd like to meet someone with the ability to (in the event we click) hang out in person a minimum of three times a month, preferably one or two times a week.
I get along with all kinds of people and personalities, I prefer that we have at least a couple hobbies in common but in general I enjoy people's differences as much as what we have in common. I USUALLY get along with introverts better, but extroverts are fine too if you're not super extroverted - in which case you'll probably steamroll me.
I generally get along with people that like dogs and cats better, but it's not required. Just be aware that I have two cats and a dog. Bonus points if we like similar forms of media or if you're looking for a hiking buddy.
If you think we might be a decent match or have any questions, please ask! Hope to hear from you soon!
