So it was getting late in Dublin, my rugby team lost and I was feeling sorry for myself. In true single-person-in-their-late-30s style, that meant I had to open a bottle of wine. In true Irish-person-having-a-drink style, that meant I needed someone to talk to and decide to draft a personal ad.

I'm perfectly lovely, not bad looking if I do say so myself, generally have my shit together. I like to travel, cook, watch Ireland lose rugby games and watch artsy fartsy European cinema. I'm a lawyer working for a global tech company so am very busy during the day, but most of that is being stuck behind a computer and so all the better if I have someone to swap messages with to de-stress me a little bit. The best part of being a lawyer is making enough money to waste on unnecessary kitchen gadgets which is my one true weakness in life.

Being Irish I fit the stereotype and am of course ginger and deathly pale. I'm neither geek nor nerd so am usually at a loss when people start chatting video games and the likes but I like passionate people - if video games or geeky stuff is your passion, then good for you and I'll enjoy that. I like passionate, confident women. Passionate, confident, flirty women who can swap movie/podcast/recipe/subreddits/music/book recommendations is even better.

Ideally I'd find someone to while away an evening or two chatting with. If it blossoms into something else, fantastic. I'm guessing at this time of night most people on here will be American and hey I work for a US company and travel a lot with work so am in the Us frequently. Chicago is my favourite city in the world so if you live there then let's get married. I am experienced in ENM relationships and whilst I'm not sure if I am necessarily poly myself, I know I have no problem with my partner being polyamorous and in fact it is something that really works well for me in a relationship (until it all blows up in my face and I'm left heartbroken drinking aforementioned wine....).
