Hey! I’ve been following this sub for a while and decided it was time to post. I created a throwaway in case things get ~weird~ but I'm willing to share my main if we connect.
I'm a 26yo trans man in Michigan. I’m solo poly and interested in a committed relationship, but I’m not interested in cohabitation or marriage. I’m 5’ 8”, slim/average build. No tattoos, yes piercings. I drink but don’t smoke (anything).
I’m looking for a boyfriend between 24 - 32, however being in the same life stage and having the same life goals is what’s most important to me. I’m interested in building a relationship with someone who can appreciate my hobbies and shares my ambitions for the future. I’m attracted to men of all kinds, including cis, trans, and non-binary men & mascs. The closer to Michigan the better, but I’m open to an online or LDR as well.
I’m passionate about and committed to local food systems, and I’ve been experimenting lately to find out how much food I can produce at home on my suburban lot. I currently keep rabbits for wool and show, and I’m getting chickens in the spring! I have a pond seeded with wild rice, and I’m considering my stocking options for aquaponics (bass and/or tilapia are the current leaders). I also enjoy foraging for mushrooms and wild edibles.
This past year I grew flax for linen, sunflowers for seeds, flour corn, amaranth, squash, and a whole lot of beans. I just harvested the last of the bok choy, and I currently have wheat and cabbage in the ground. Next year I’m looking forward to planting asparagus, quinoa, fruit trees, and a lot more beans.
Outside of agriculture, my hobbies include spinning wool into yarn, knitting wearable items (like sweaters, hats and mittens), and competing with my town’s recreational archery team. I’m interested in taking classes for woodworking, pottery, and skating (roller or ice), but the stars haven’t aligned on those yet. I’m going back to school in the fall to study horticulture, agri business, or something similar.
If you think we’re compatible, I’d love to hear from you! Send a chat or DM with a bit about you, what you’re looking for, and what you’re passionate about.
Happy Holidays!
