Long story short - I'm a 41-year-old professional guy who has successfully adulted my way through life (so far), and I figured, why not give Reddit a shot? If you’re here, we probably share that, “Well, why not?” vibe, right? A bit about me:
- I’m gainfully employed (this feels like an important selling point these days). I have one of those careers that lets me say things like, "I have a meeting," while secretly Googling the answer to whatever someone just asked me. But hey, I'm pretty good at what I do, so it works.
- I’m the curious type. I love learning new things—whether it's a deep dive into the mysteries of black holes or just why we all collectively agreed pineapple on pizza is that controversial.
- I’m easy-going, but with a dash of nerdy enthusiasm that might spill over if you get me talking about space documentaries, how weirdly satisfying spreadsheets can be, or why we’ll never agree on the best way to load a dishwasher (spoiler: my way is the correct way).
What am I looking for? Honestly, someone who’s cool with witty banter, who enjoys the idea of digging into topics that make you think, and who’s down to occasionally break free of routine and try something new. If we can chat for hours about random life stuff and still want to keep the conversation going, I’m in. Bonus points if you can teach me something new—like how to not kill every plant I bring home (RIP, fern #3).
No pressure. Let’s start with some fun, thoughtful conversation and see where it leads. Worst-case scenario, we both get a good chat out of it and learn something new (like who invented Mondays and how to track them down).
I look forward to hearing from you!
