Hello everyone. Its been a few months since my original post, and unfortunately most of those who answered either petered out, ghosted me as soon as they got their rocks off, or I discovered that they weren't really poly and were just looking to cheat on their wives. (wtf is wrong with people.)

So here I am..hoping beyond hope that maybe someone will read this and maybe, just maybe, they may be down on their luck with the dating scene and are looking for someone that has staying power behind just the initial "honeymoon phase" that meeting someone new has.

A little about me to start, I'm 45 years old, straight, married to my nesting partner with whom I share 3 obnoxious furchildren, auburn hair, blue eyes, glasses, nerdy bbw. I'm a big fan of Star Wars, LOTR, Firefly, Marvel, GoT/HotD, Critical Role, and many other genre's. I'm as much at home attending a local pop culture convention as I am at a metal show or renaissance faire. I'm very much into music having grown up in a musical family. I do play instruments and sing, and I pretty much enjoy any kind of music out there except hard gangster rap or cookie monster metal. Big fan of 80's hair metal bands though, they always put me in a good mood, but the rest of my spotify looks like someone with multiple personality disorder as there is a little bit of everything; metal, rock, country, celtic, soundtracks, alternative, grunge, pop. It's all over the place.

I'm looking for either local discreet dating (we aren't out to our family), or would be open to the possibility of a long distance thing with chances of meeting in the future. I would prefer someone around my age; usually 30 is the lowest I go but exceptions can be made for the right someone. Looks are unimportant as personality is more attractive to me, but I do tend to go for more "fluffy" guys. Beard or facial hair is always a plus, and your pic will get mine. Someone who like giving and receiving those nice "Good morning (term of endearment)" type messages on text or discord to start your day.

I can pretty much discord off and on all day so I don't mind keeping you company on those long work days. Flirty friends is always a good way to start, and then eventually if something more develops we can take it from there. (Dick pic only messages will get you ignored, don't be that guy...seriously.) I'm good with either staying in and watching a movie for the umpteenth time, or going out and listening to live music or seeing a movie, or even drowning a few quarters in an arcade somewhere.
