Hey there

 I’m on the hunt for a best friend in crime—preferably one who can handle me at my introvert and at my worst (which is bad car karaoke). From & live in South Africa but currently travelling. 

I think these posts work best if you’re upfront about wants and expectations so here is my ‘what brings you here’. I am happily married to a wonderful man. In 2022 we became ethically non-monogamous and I began exploring being poly. I met someone on Reddit, we were together for two years and had a really amazing relationship, which ended a few months ago. I am still processing the end of that relationship but am excited about getting to meet and know people again. 

About Me:

• Hobbies: I’m into reading (mostly light-hearted contemporary fiction), seeking out incredible cocktails (Old Fashions being my first choice) and I’m on a never-ending quest to find the best sushi and smash burgers (not at the same time however). 
• Personality: Think of me as a mix of Phoebe and Monica. Fiercely loyal and loving but prone to overthinking mixed with a bit of quirky and the tendency to prefer the company of animals over people 94.3% of the time. Also the owner of two cats, one definitely fits the criteria of being a stinky cat
• Miscellaneous: The last band I saw was Blink 182, I went 10-pin bowling for the first time last week and won the first round (I know that had to impress you even a little bit ;)), I’m a sucker for a good conspiracy theory (even if I don’t believe them), my favourite sport to watch is F1, but watch quite a few in general

What I’m Looking For:

Someone who is open-minded, curious and wants to learn more about the people he encounters. Genuinely wanting connection, platonic and romantic is important. I want to be best friends, someone who you can talk shit with and have fun with, and then also have other kinds of fun with too. I prefer it if you are older than I am and have the capacity (time, emotional and mental) for this type of thing

Additionally (and I always hesitate to add this on the post because people jump the gun on it) I am into kink. It’s something I’ve explored only in my previous relationship and feel somewhat uncertain and a bit bewildered by the idea of getting into it again, but it is something I desire and enjoy exploring :)
