Hello whoever took the time to read this.
I have a nesting partner, we've been together for 6 years and have been poly our whole relationship. I'm looking to branch out and make friends in the community that may lead to a partnership or may not. I'm ideally looking for long-term relationships but could be open to something casual with the right person.
About me, I'm a social worker by day and working on starting a small sustainability focused business (not as often as I'd like) while also doing some remodeling of our century home. I won't be able to give tons of time each week but I will be available, just not always, and when I am I'm an attentive friend/partner.
I'm both a home body and an outdoorsy person. Not a partier anymore. I like plants, trees and fungi a lot and grow/forage food and some herbal medicine (but I'm not woo-y at all). I also used to be quite a nerdy guy before I lived outside for a while and I'd like to get back in touch with that side of myself. My current partner fullfills me with the outside stuff but while I'm more than happy to find friends or another partner to share that side of myself with, I'd really like to find someone to talk about and engage in nerdy stuff, but not video games, I had an addiction that was very bad and I don't mess with anything beyond some stuff on my phone these days.
I love to engage in big picture conversations, especially those about solving big problems I'll never have the money or influence to affect cause I'm some kind of mental masochist; listen to and discuss anything someone else knows more than me or is just passionate about and just learning in general. Teach me stuff I know you know something I don't and I want your brain stuffs stuffed into my brain stuffs. Gimme your brains.
That's probably enough. Feel free to message me or respond here and tell me about yourself. I look forward to hearing from folks.
