A few small changes have been made today.

Firstly the year old rules discussion post has now been copied to a wiki page and linked in the sidebar. This is mostly just for ease of editing as tweaks and changes need to be made. Because that page is no longer a discussion some edits from the original have been made. However the stickied rules post will remain for awhile yet.

Secondly I've added some geographic area flairs to the post submission section. When you submit and R4R you can now choose a flair that most closely matches your area. This will enable people to search by flair for posts that match their own areas. At the moment the areas available are pretty broad but I'll add more fine grained areas if this change kicks off in a meaningful way. These are not going to be enforced by the rules, they're just a "nice to have".
