I'm 33, nonbinary (just to get it out of the way, AMAB), and a sort-of Midwestern transplant! I tend to be interested in folks more on the fem side of things, so if you're a cis-guy you'd have to be veeeery cute, but not ruling it out. Shoot your shot.

I've been told repeatedly this is a silly thing to have as a relationship priority, but the truth is, if someone's not down with the bike-life we're just not likely to spend much time together. It's my primary mode of transport, how I get to know my world, and been the only consistent aspect of my identity my whole life. I've never been into the sport aspect of it, rather, my attraction to the bike life stems from environmentalism, self-reliance, and it's just fun.

My dream dates usually involve riding out somewhere green and quiet, with tea or coffee and something I (we?) have baked, and some kind of fun outdoor leisure activity; some light trail riding, hiking, kite flying, fishing, or just cuddling on a blanket. Hopefully there's ice cream or something on the way back! Maybe everyone once in a while we go out on overnight rides or longer and get to camp!

Aside from cycling and chill outdoors time, I enjoy baking (particularly bread), cooking, photography, and being generally handy. I'm good with my hands and like fixing or making things, and am currently slowly building up a workshop with an emphasis on woodworking. I currently live in a collective with some friends and family, and we share expenses and tasks, and usually cook for and eat with each other. It's been a nice arrangement that's allowing me to pursue job training, and I don't see a future where I am not living in intentional community.

I'd really love to meet someone who is similarly geared. I tend to be at my best when I am partnered with someone on projects. Oh yeah, I guess I forgot to mention I am ADHD as hell, and having a partner to work with and bounce ideas off of helps me out a lot on problem solving and creative work. I'd be absolutely giddy if I found someone who wanted to build things with me.

I do currently live in Boston, and I'd love to meet and get to know someone locally, but my community isn't planning on staying here forever, so I'd be happy to get to know folks from anywhere that think a they live in a good place to start a co-op, or are currently living in one and think they could have room for more in a couple years or so. I know my group is particularly interested in the Twin Cities area, and I tend to look towards Vermont or Maine, but we want to go wherever the like minded people are, so reach out and say hi!
