Hi reddit. I've been polyam my entire dating life and this past year I've been thinking about what else I want from the future -- specifically that I want kids after having spent my 20s firmly childfree. Big paradigm shift but I feel a lot better now and I'm so excited (and scared)! I want to use my own eggs for IVF and carry the kid(s).
So if you are interested in all 3 of these:
--Developing a romantic and sexual relationship
--Co-parenting one or more children, with partners & friends involved as well
--Living together in a housing co-op community with leftist and anarchist values
please send me a message after reading the rest of my post :)
About me:
I am nonbinary, 5'9", plus size, very distinctively tattooed. Into kink and other fun stuff. Irreverent & macabre humor. I love books, sci-fi, alt and pinup fashion and makeup, dancing at goth clubs, weight training, weird art, affectionate touch, direct communication. Living with animals and plants is important to me. I work to maintain healthy, critical relationships with substances & technologies.
I have two existing LTRs with wonderful partners who are excited to be part of a child's family but would rather be aunties than parents. One of them may be a donor for IVF. I've dated across various lines of gender and sexuality so I'm happy to hear from anyone with a queer identity.
Some values, general & parenting:
--No to the nuclear family, yes to relationship anarchy. I want my kid(s) to grow up surrounded by artists, ecoterrorists, other nonconformists, and a million cool aunties. I want to commit in a variety of ways to a variety of people.
--I live in a growing co-op that involves projects, meals, and fun together. I think it's going to be great for kids.
--Curiosity & learning; reading, nature, arts and crafts. I can't wait to read bedtime stories.
--Talking it out and patience instead of punishment, anger, yelling, cruelty.
--Happiness, health, and communication are more important to me than good grades, vacations, religion, prestigious schools, or appeasing biological relatives.
I would like to swap a few messages and pics, go on dates somewhere T accessible, talk a lot about ourselves, see if we may be compatible! Special preference to people who are organized, driven, and direct. Tell me about yourself, any existing thoughts about you as a parent, and toss me a few date ideas 🌞
