Hello hi. It's been a long while since I made a post, and as spring approaches, it seems like a good time to renew some interest in the world and maybe finding a person.

I am 43, a smol (5'5" and under 130), and great lover of cats. I'm autistic (late diagnosis) and neurospicy in other ways. I work at a university in a staff position, but it's there to pay the bills. I enjoy that I get to teach from time-to-time (that's really one of my passions), but I also like the freedom to do side gig work. I have been an editor for more than a decade, and I love the English language. For the last few years, I've been focusing my attention on designing and editing tabletop RPG's (I my title says: peak-level nerd). I am a part of a few communities helping produce really cool content and support a variety of designers. I'm also a big sci-fi nerd, PC gaming nerd, beer nerd, and have many other nerddoms.

I've been non-mono since 2006 and currently practice solo-poly. I'm currently in a relationship, and we are in the process of moving in together, but that isn't a hindrance. I am a bit of an "in person" kind of guy -- I just have the awful ADHD habit of not being very good about instigating conversation online -- so I would love to find someone at least moderately close to me in the Twin Cities; however, I am open to the idea of building a long-distance relationship. While I am not rich by any means, I do have the capacity to travel sometimes, and I would be open to that. Plus, I do think that regular video chats, remote hangouts, and other activities are equally as valid and rewarding as in-person -- for most things.

I'm looking for someone who is politically left (and I'm talking ready to take to the streets because of the *Dodds* decision and the potential of a Trump autocracy kind of Left), who's ok with my independence and their own, who has their own passions but shares a few of mine, and who understands that life is weird, and we should be weird with it. I tend to identify as cis-het, but I am pretty broadly open anyone who is femme. I am fairly open on age, I am open to kink (happy to share my FL profile if you have one, too), and I definitely prioritize someone who loves animals (I'm a "cat dad," which I know comes with a lot of assumption, many of them true).

Messages here are just fine, but I am far more likely to ask for Snap or Discord because I like to chat more regularly (and Reddit isn't one of my "always open" tabs). I look forward to some messages.
