I am from the Upper Chesapeake Bay Area, about 30 min from Baltimore and 35 from Wilmington. I have degrees in history and political science with a masters, as well. I write for a living, and have done very well for myself. I am a socialist, and consider myself mostly a leftist. I do own and rent out property, so I am not a perfect leftist. I live frugally, I work hard, and I am pretty empathetic. I have been called intense, and I am. I’m highly intelligent, I am deep, and I am working through my own trauma.

I am looking for a romantic partner who:

• Is well educated, formal education is not essential.
• Is 36 to 50 ( /- a year or two).
• Can match my intensity and passion.
• Is body positive, I am a plus size (1x/18-20).
• Is capable of emotional intelligence: does not have to be perfect. We are all adults and most of us are healing from trauma.
• Has conversational skills and is considerate of one another’s time.
• Is willing to talk about feelings, and be open in communication.
• Can romance a middle aged woman with maturity.
• Is open to non-vanilla life (am demisexual so that’s a long time off irl.) I am willing to discuss preferences, likes, etc after a good bit of conversation to see if we are compatible. Someone who prefers to take charge is a plus.
• Willingness to be active, to go for hikes, walks, and be in nature.
• Capable of a strong intellectual connection, physical, and spiritual/soul connection. I am an omnist with some pagan leanings.

I have two nesting partners and two kids. I am open to my partner having a similar situation, or something different. I’m cautious about introducing folks to my family unless they are the right fit.
