Who am I?

I play a potentially dangerous amount of board games but I also design them so it balances out. I care very deeply about the truth, and understanding everything that can be understood. I eat facts. I rent new kittens every month (I foster beautiful monsters).

I’m a professional storyteller, I love sushi but I don’t eat fish, and I once ate French Toast Crunch for every meal without dying. Tell me something you’re passionate about and if it’s an animal I’ll tell you a probably disturbing fact about that animal.

I'm poly and have a wonderful nesting partner who's very lovely, and I'm also really into kitchen table poly, so maybe you are too?

What do I do?

I’m in the final stages of releasing a truly gargantuan card game that has been in the works for years. It’s very fun, and very pretty, and you should try it! Seriously, it's going to change the world.

I’m also working on an equally gargantuan documentary series about the science and history of human relationships. It’s animated too - so it’s going to take a while. Another lifelong project that’s allowed me to meet some truly amazing people around the world.

What do I value?

The desire to learn. Some of the people I’ve valued the most are people who are deeply ignorant, but desperate to soak up new information. Obviously I’d prefer you be smart as hell, but it’s most important that you want to expand your horizons. Most of what I’ve learned is how little I know, and how most of our problems can be traced back to our self-assuredness in our own intuition, however flawed that turns out to be.

If you want to teach me something new, that’s intoxicating.

How do I make creative stuff?

Well up until last year I made movies about tragic fantasy creatures. I loved directing, but it’s getting harder and harder to get projects greenlit, and I HAVE to be creating things. Directing tv is NOT the same

So now it’s all about games, a total career conversion - and I feel awesome about it. Putting smiles on faces is the whole point of my art and games are way more efficient at generating eudaimonia.

Who should you be?

Another human who values kindness, maybe a bit of a hopeless romantic, and whip fast sense of humor and bonkers energy. Playful, excitable, and willing to leave the damn internet for some genuine human-on-human emotional connection. What do you love more than anything in the world?
