Hello there, thanks for taking a moment to click and read! Let’s get right to it!
1: I’m tall and slim, not quite six feet but tall enough that finding pants that don’t look like I’m wading into a texas flood can be hard to come by.
2: I love words! I’m an editor by day, freelance, mostly working with romance and erotica authors! I love to read both so it’s like getting paid for having fun. I love writing and receiving letters as well! I’ve even been known to dabble here and there in writing my own fiction! Books are my lifeblood and I have an embarrassing pile of unread novels next to my desk (mostly sci fi, horror, romance, and non-fiction) and a less embarrassing collection of read novels and non-fiction books on my bookshelves, of which there are many.
3: I’ve been poly for about 20 years now! Talk about feeling old. I have two nesting partners, one romantic and one platonic. We all co-parent together, both a human child and several furbabies. (Don’t be surprised if you’re accosted with pictures of my critters!)
4: I love hitting thrift stores for fashion finds and just things in general. I hate paying full price for anything. I love seeing what other people find as well and have been known to haunt subreddits for thrift store hauls!
5: I’m a huge gamer nerd! I adore gaming (PC) and right now am doing the Baldur’s Gate 3 dance. I also have spent time with Minecraft, Diablo, Deep Rock Galactic, Overwatch, and others. Right now I’m finishing up Control as well to prepare for the new Alan Wake game later this month!
6: I’m also just a sci fi/fantasy nerd! From Star Wars, to The Expanse, to Warhammer 40k, I love it all. I grew up on the science fiction classics and guess I never grew out of loving them. Right now I’m watching Clone Wars again with my sister and also listening through a couple 40k novels by Dan Abnett!
7: As if the nerd list wasn’t long enough already, I'm also looking to get into TTRPGs. I’ve played a little DnD but the campaign was brief and I would love to find another game to play in.
8: Health and Fitness are important to me and I’d do best with a friend or partner that valued them as well. I gave up my gym membership during Covid but keep myself in shape with hiking and yoga and I’d love to hear someone else’s fitness routine as well! An exercise buddy would also just be wonderful!
9: I was raised in a Christian cult and have since broken away from *any* religion. I do read tarot and have a major fascination with all things occult and paranormal and when forced to self-label I call myself an agnostic witch!
10: I live in East TN and while I’d love to find someone local I’m also open to online connections, preferably around my age but that’s not a hard sticking point! I’m perfectly happy to share a selfie or two early on and would appreciate that being reciprocated. I’m a little nervous about posting but a friend of mine told me the poly community on reddit tends to be very cool and welcoming (much like my local community!) so I’m hoping to hear from some of you!
Bonus information: I’m not the biggest fan of reddit chat so would prefer to move to discord once we’re both comfortable. Also, I’m a kinky lady leaning toward the submissive side but this is something fairly new to me so someone more educated in kink who could be a teacher or a mentor would be most welcome!
