I work in oncology clinical trials and absolutely love chatting to folk of a science/tech bent. My job IS my hobby given my proclivities for reading autopsy reports and pharmacology journals for fun, but otherwise I love cooking for people -- anything pastry, Hunan Chinese, or slow cooked brisket is a winner -- and going to beer festivals, particularly for impy stouts and a great musky saison. I own more hot sauces than I do pairs of socks. I love long walks around the local countryside, and aim to make it to a gig at least every fortnight. Music is my main hobby. My music taste runs the gamut from sad dad indie to sad lady dad indie and if you're a fan of The National or Sufjan Stevens we should just shack up in a tent and weep it out. Last four gigs were Angel Olsen, Ezra Furman, Soccer Mommy and Buck Meek if that gives a flavour but I've also loved math rock and Algerian folk and will give anything a go. I play clarinet badly, and adore singing Weird Al on karaoke. Not as much into board games or climbing as a poly woman my age probably should be. I've never seen a Marvel or DC anything, but adore classic Trek, TNG, Buffy, early season Frasier, and cheesy reality cooking shows. If you don't find humour in Bojack Horseman, it's unlikely we'd get on.
