So if you want to know about me I have a pinned post on my profile with probably too much information. But in short I’m 43, a trans woman who transitioned decades ago, and located in southeastern Virginia.

I’m a HSP, and very emotional by nature. I can be shy, and am very introverted, but I love spending as much time as possible with the people I love and care about. I love Love, and physical affection, and caring for my partners. I’m looking for someone who can share that same level of deep connection and mutual care. I’m always looking out for my partners best interests, and I need to feel confident my partner is doing the same for me.

In life I’m interested in so many different things ordinarily, and I would really love to find someone who shares that passion for learning and exploring. I have really enjoyed traveling when I can, and would love to see more with someone special.

In terms of my relationships I am married, but my wife is monogamous. She supports me finding another person who can love me though, and really enjoys seeing me happy when I love someone.

But honestly I have been deeply hurt, and I’ve even questioned whether Poly is for me. I just get super invested in caring about other people, but so far people seem to favor something rather different than what I seem to be looking for.

I think ideally some type of polyfidelity, where we are all thoroughly invested in each other’s lives is my long term ideal. If there’s a level above kitchen table Poly, like shared homestead Poly, I think that’s my goal. I respect other styles of Poly, but I just don’t think Solo or Parallel would work for me in a partner, so I want to be upfront about that with mutual respect for individual differences.

I know reddit skews younger but I’m openminded on age among adults. My wife is actually quite a bit older than me, but easy to get along with imo. I have almost exclusively only had relationships with other trans women, but I am open to other possibilities.

I’d be thrilled to find one other person in life who could deeply love me as a complex human being, and also desire me passionately in terms of physical intimacy. But I have often thought it could also be rather beautiful if an existing couple wanted to work towards a new shared future.
